Great news! The JEMSMART PS25D-12A sniffer pump for the Potty Sniffer toilet ventilation system has completed certification by CSA Group to meet relevant UL and CSA product safety standards. This opens the door for the Potty Sniffer system to be sold and distributed throughout the US and Canada by resellers that require products to be certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). This also allows installers who may only deal with certified products to install the system and for use in commercial facilities that require NRTL certified products in order to be compliant with OSHA requirements.
The PS25D pump is listed by CSA Group as certified/verified to meet the following standards:
USA: UL 1450 – UL Standard for Safety Motor-Operated Air Compressors, Vacuum Pumps, and Painting Equipment
Canada: CSA C22.2 NO. 68-18 – Motor-operated appliances (household and commercial)
In addition, the PS25D-12A sniffer pump has been tested by a nationally accredited (NVLAP) lab to be in compliance with FCC / EN32 Class B for electromagnetic emissions limits – which is a basic requirement for all electronic devices sold within the US, Canada, and European Union.
